Who We Are

Margins to Mainstream Foundation is a Trust registered in 2016, under The Indian Trusts Act, 1882.

We, the founding members have roots in Old Delhi; having lived, grown up and received education there. In 1990s, we benefited from an educational programme of a voluntary organisation in Old Delhi. Through the timely intervention of this programme in our education, we have grown up to be leaders in our respective fields. Realising the significance and relevance of this intervention in our education, we came together to form this Trust, the Margins to Mainstream Foundation, and run it with our personal contributions. We believe that the kind of educational activities and interventions that benefitted us should benefit the younger generations of backward communities and disadvantaged groups also. Some of the members who were associated with the educational programme in the 1990s in Old Delhi have also joined us in our endeavour.
