The Foundation is conducting an empirical study on the schools of Old Delhi. The central objective of this study is to examine the condition of schools and identify the determinants of quality education, in terms of barriers and enablers that relate to the functioning and academic outcomes of such schools. This study is much needed for improving the educational outcomes, reducing the drop-out rate and for enabling the students to continue their formal education.
This study is directly going to benefit 17 schools in Old Delhi and academic outcomes of approximately 12,500 students spread across these schools.
